A note to all Kansas Fans

So... another Jayhawk flop.

I am sure I am not the only one... about 5 minutes into the game or so... I just know the game is going to be close to the end and we will lose.  Why do I feel this way?  I guess I have seen enough of their games over the years to see it coming?  (Since my freshman year... I figure I have seen about 450 games)

So... why did we lose?  I think it honestly comes down to guys being scared of foul trouble.  The we so agressive in the paint in the first half.. but lost their edge early in the second half.  Texas KILLED us o the boards in the second half.

What do you all think?  Why the lack of intensity?

I think the difference in the 2nd half was Damion James staying out of foul trouble.  He's the most consistent rebounder on the team and he only played 3 minutes in the first half.  His presence & rebounding kept Kansas from getting a lot of the easy putbacks they enjoyed in the first half.

Pi$$ poor effort in the 2nd half.  I am sorry, but how in the name of all things holy does Justin Mason get as many offensive rebounds as he does if the Hawks are boxing out.  Rebounding is nothing more than positioning and effort.  KU had neither in the 2nd.  James was well rested from riding the pine the entire 1st half and it is somewhat excusable to have him get 13 rebounds in the 2nd half, but Mason is 6ft 3.  Get a freaking rebound.  My wife thinks I need anger management.
